Using Floor Stencils to Create a Great Design
Ersatz designs are ideal for decorating your floors if you are on a budget and, in these days, where financial resources may be limited, floor stencils make ideal, economic sense if you have the time and patience to do the job properly.

Stencils can be applied to any surface, including a concrete floor and, with the appropriate finish being used, can be used equally well both inside the house and outside in the yard. If you have confidence, patience and a modicum of ability you can create some dramatic designs with stencilling that enhance your floor space for far less than you would need to spend on the purchase of hardwood flooring or carpeting. Prior to painting it is essential that the floor is cleaned of old wax, grease and dirt as this detritus will prevent the paint adhering properly to the floor.
